Martijn Visser appointed partner
As of 1 January Martijn Visser joined TIC Advisory | Powered by De Jong & Laan as a partner. With his arrival, we strengthen our Transaction Services practice and welcome our fourth partner within the Financial Due Diligence specialisation.
Strengthening the Transaction Services practice
Martijn becomes part of our Transaction Services practice. He assists clients in acquisitions and divestments, with a strong focus on financial due diligence on both the buy and sell side. In intensive processes with short deadlines, he delivers in-depth financial analyses in a short time and makes the financial risks of transactions clear and transparent.
Building our strategic ambitions together
In addition to his role in the practice, Martijn will actively contribute to the realisation of our strategic ambitions together with the other partners. Since joining De Jong & Laan in April last year, we have further sharpened our growth strategy. TIC Advisory remains the specialist in financial due diligence, while together with De Jong & Laan we have broadened our M&A services to include transaction services, corporate finance and tax deal advisory.

Broad experience in due diligence and transactions
Martijn makes the move from Forvis Mazars, where he worked as Director with a focus on due diligence since 2020. Before that, he worked at KPMG for 12 years and gained broad experience within financial due diligence and transactions.
He has extensive expertise in buy-side and sell-side due diligence, vendor assistance and the preparation of financial fact books. Martijn has worked for a wide range of organisations - from medium-sized companies to large corporates and private equity parties - in sectors such as business services and hospitality, manufacturing and industrial, trade and transport, and healthcare and medical devices.
